Globalwei Optimizes Micro Component Placement Process to Meet 01005 Component Processing Requirements

As electronic devices evolve toward miniaturization and high density, 01005 micro components are being widely adopted, raising higher standards for precision control in SMT assembly. Recently, Shenzhen Globalwei Technology has systematically optimized process parameters to address the core pain points of micro component placement, further improving the placement stability of ultra-small components.

In micro component assembly, solder paste printing uniformity, placement pressure control and reflow temperature curve are the key factors affecting production yield. Globalwei’s technical team adopts custom nano-coated stencils and optimizes squeegee pressure and demolding speed, effectively solving frequent issues such as stencil aperture clogging and uneven solder paste release for 01005 components. Meanwhile, the placement machine vision positioning system has been upgraded to keep repetitive placement accuracy within ±10μm, supporting precise alignment for 0.2mm pitch BGA devices.

Considering the low heat capacity of micro components and their vulnerability to thermal shock, zone temperature control and nitrogen-filled reflow technology are applied to reduce common defects such as tombstoning and cold solder joints. At present, the optimized process has been steadily applied to the production of medical electronics, smart sensors and other high-precision products.
